You can delete your account and its data here, without installing the app. This is permanent.
Sign in with the details you use in the Ekuproof app. We ask for your password because deletion cannot be undone, and nobody should be able to delete your account by knowing only your email address.
We do not keep a hidden copy of your account. But a small amount of information survives in a form that can no longer be linked to you, and you should know exactly what and why before you decide.
| What | Outcome | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and mobile number | Erased | Replaced with a random value that cannot reach you and cannot be traced back |
| Password | Destroyed | Removed entirely; you cannot sign in again afterwards |
| Identity documents and selfies | Destroyed | Deleted from storage, not just unlinked |
| Your age credential | Revoked | Stops working at venue doors immediately, including on devices that are offline, once they next sync |
| Signed-in devices | Revoked | Every session ends at once, on every device |
| Notification settings | Deleted | Nothing audits against these, so they go outright |
| Records that a check happened | Kept, anonymous | A venue must still be able to show they checked a valid credential on a given night — that is their legal defence. These records no longer identify you. |
| The account row itself | Kept, anonymous | Retained as a meaningless identifier so the records above stay intact. It holds nothing about you. |
How long the anonymous records are kept is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can register again afterwards with the same email address — it will be a new account, with no history.
Immediately. There is no waiting period, no queue, and no cooling-off window during which the account could be restored. When the confirmation above appears, it is already done.
You still have the right to have your data erased even if you have lost your password or no longer use the email address or number you registered with.
Email admin@ekuproof.com from the address you registered with, or tell us the mobile number you used, and ask us to delete your account. We will verify that the request is genuinely yours before acting on it, and respond within one month.
If you still have Ekuproof installed, you can do the same thing there: open Settings, then Security, then Delete account. The result is identical to using this page.
The Ekuproof for Venues app (com.oneproof.venue) works
differently. You do not create an account yourself: a manager at your venue adds you using your
work email address, and the app issues you a PIN that only works on that device.
To remove your access, ask any manager at your venue to open Staff in the app and revoke you. That takes effect immediately — you are signed out and the PIN stops working.
To have the record behind it erased as well, email admin@ekuproof.com from the address your venue registered, or ask your venue to write on your behalf. We will confirm the request with the venue before acting on it, because the account belongs to the venue rather than to you.
Entries in the venue's scan log stay. They are the record the venue has to be able to show a licensing officer, and they contain no customer names or images. Deleting them is not ours to do.
